High performance trowel applied epoxy floor screed
Description
RonaFloor Epoxy Floor Mortar is a high performance epoxy resin screed for repairing existing floors and providing new wearing surfaces. Its formulation allows thin section application from 5mm. It is suitable for forming coves, skirtings and upstands.
It offers good mechanical resistance and will resist attack from most industrial chemicals including acids, alkalis, oils, fats, solvents and foodstuffs. Surfaces laid or repaired with RonaFloor Epoxy Floor Mortar can be accessed by foot traffic after 10-12 hours and by heavy loads after 16 hours (at 20°C). RonaFloor Epoxy Floor Mortar has been designed for ease of use and practicality of application.

Specification Clause
The wearing screed / screed repair shall be RonaFloor Epoxy Floor Mortar by Ronacrete Ltd, tel. +44 (0) 1279 638700. The screed shall be laid at a 5-50mm thick (or state thickness). The primer is to be RonaFloor Epoxy Primer. All materials to be applied in accordance with manufacturers instructions.

Preparation
Mechanically prepare substrate in accordance with BS8204: Part 6: 2001. Provide structurally sound and clean substrate to receive high strength screed.
Primer
Prime the surface with RonaFloor Epoxy Primer.
Mixing
Mix using a forced action mixer. If using a drill and paddle mixer use Ronacrete Mixer Attachment C2.
Installation
Trowel apply screed onto tacky primer. Finish with float or trowel.
Packaging
RonaFloor Epoxy Floor Mortar is supplied in 5kg and 25kg packs.
RonaFloor Epoxy Primer is supplied in 2.25kg and 4.5kg packs.
Shelf Life And Storage
Shelf life 9 months. Store in a cool dry place. Protect from frost.
Health And Safety
Protective clothing such as goggles, overalls and gloves is recommended to prevent any effect from prolonged skin contact, inhalation or ingestion. Refer to Health and Safety Data Sheet.
Site AttendanceWhen on site Ronacrete representatives are able, if asked, to give a general indication of the correct method of installing a Ronacrete product. It is important to bear in mind that Ronacrete Ltd is a manufacturer and not an application contractor and it is therefore the responsibility of the contractor and his employer to ensure he is aware of and implements the correct practices and procedures to ensure the correct installation of the product and that liability for its correct installation lies with the contractor and not with Ronacrete Ltd. |
